ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Asia Injury Prevention Foundation (AIP) is an international non-governmental organization founded in Vietnam in 1999, later expanding to offices in China, Cambodia, and Thailand and conducts further programming in Myanmar and India. AIP Foundation envisions a world with zero road injuries and fatalities. They further envision a world where private corporations, government agencies, and the public sector collaborate to affect sustainable, positive changes in road safety policies and practices and where individuals are empowered and educated to make intelligent decisions about their safety and security while traveling on their communities’ roads. Through a range of programs spanning from training traffic officers to expanding safe walking areas on roadways, five overall tiers of their approach are supported, including: Communications for Change, Global and Legislative Advocacy, Targeted Education, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Access to Safe Equipment. ABOUT THE POSITION: 

The Development Coordinator (DC) is based in HCMC, Vietnam and reports directly to the Development and Strategic Partnerships Manager (DSPM). The DC is responsible for coordinating all aspects of fundraising and development activities, from planning to execution and monitoring. Under the direction of the DSPM, the Development Coordinator works with members from AIP Foundation’s programs, finance, and monitoring & evaluation teams across different offices to design projects and write proposals in order to secure funding for the organization.
