Molly Giblin, Director of Programs of Princeton in Asia

Molly Giblin

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

Email: m.giblin@princetoninasia.org

After completing undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University at Buffalo, Molly (she/her) began her career teaching English in Hong Kong. She then pursued a Ph.D. in History at Rutgers University, and spent several years teaching Global, European, and Asian history before moving into the field of international exchange. She is particularly interested in how we understand (and fail to understand) one another across ever-shifting ideas of cultural likeness and alterity, and how we might build stronger, more equitable present-day relationships by being attentive to the historical legacies of imperialism and inequality. Molly is enthusiastic about the transformative potential of immersive global learning and is passionate about extending such experiences to a more diverse audience. In addition to overseeing program infrastructure at PiA, Molly manages fellowships in East and Southeast Asia. She enjoys baking and hiking, and has two cats.

ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Email: j.greco@princetoninasia.org

As Alumni Engagement & Communications Coordinator, Julianne supports community-building across PiA’s global alumni network and helps share stories that reflect PiA’s bridge-building mission. A PiA alumna herself, she was a Fellow in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from 2012 to 2014.

After her fellowship, she decided that two years in Indonesia wasn’t enough, and now, 13 years later, she still hasn’t left and has no plans to. Originally from Colorado, Julianne graduated from Dickinson College with a double major in Law & Policy and International Studies.

Julianne spent almost nine years at Coconuts Media, where she held roles including Bali Managing Editor, Travel Editor, Audience Development Manager, and Senior Brand Editor. Before joining PiA full-time, she worked as a freelance writer and content strategist, partnering with lifestyle, food & beverage, travel, and surf-related brands on copywriting, editorial strategy, and digital campaigns. During that time, she also collaborated with Princeton in Asia on alumni communications and publications.

Outside of work, Julianne enjoys surfing Indonesia’s waves and spending time with her partner and their three adopted dogs.

Jevelson Jean (Japan ‘22-’23)

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Jevelson taught English courses, co-directed large community events, and mentored scholars while voicing the importance of diversity and inclusion. Jevelson also co-directed an international immersion training program in New York and later in the Philippines.

After completing his two-year PiA fellowship, Jevelson joined Princeton in Asia as the Program Coordinator in September 2024. Catherine Sheskey

ADVANCEMENT VOLUNTEER

Email: c.sheskey@princetoninasia.org

Catherine Sheskey is our "resident volunteer" and started with PiA in November 2023. Her interest in all-things international begin with her listening to the neon 33.3 LPs her father brought back from Japan. Fast forwarding, she graduated from UW-Madison with a BS in Education and later an MS in Counseling. After working 30ish years in higher education, mostly in immigration and administration (while also doing a 22 year military reservist career), she retired. She soon realized she missed international education, and PiA is thrilled to have her back in the field, bringing her wealth of experience to the team.
