PiA ALUMNI

The PiA Alumni community includes over 3,400 people across the globe!

THE PiA ALUMNI COMMUNITY

  • PiA Alumni have served at over 400 host organizations over 30 countries throughout Asia.

  • After completing PiA, our Alumni have gone on to achieve distinction in their fields and make positive contributions to local and global communities. Our Alumni Network includes scholars, educators, and experts in their fields; journalists, authors, poets, artists, and filmmakers; business and NGO leaders; diplomats and public servants; doctors and health professionals; lawyers and advocates; environmentalists; and more.

  • PiA creates a lasting impact in the lives of our Alumni:

    • 1/3 of our Alumni stayed in Asia after completing their fellowship, while 2/3 reported that they have returned to their host community at least once after their fellowship.

    • 97% of PiA Alumni reported that their PiA fellowship helped build soft skills such as increased empathy, open-mindedness, humility, flexibility, and resilience.

    • 55% of PiA Alumni reported that they initiated a project or activity outside of their fellowship role.

    • 92% of PiA Alumni reported speaking at least one foreign language, and over 50% reported speaking at least two foreign languages.
