ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND:

The University of Finance and Economics (previously the Institute for Finance and Economics) was founded in 1924 and is rated the country’s best educational institution by the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia. UFE has more than 6,000 undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students who study finance, accounting, marketing and other business-related fields. PiA Fellows have been serving at the university since 2011, and Fellows have taught first-year students English and communications in addition to providing administrative support.

ABOUT THE POSITION: 

The PiA Fellow will: 

  • Teach undergraduate Foundation courses.

  • Assist in organizing teacher training programs such as academic writing and English teaching methods. And assist in editing and reviewing the English version of the teachers' research papers.

  • Help graduate programs improve the writing of academic papers for foreign students.

  • Active participation and organization of extracurricular activities (speaking clubs, presentations) for students of the School of Foreign Languages.

  • Support other academic and extracurricular activities of the Institute of Foreign Languages.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Complete the prescribed work plan. 

  • Provide feedback to students taught.

  • Direct supervisor‘s evaluation to their work in general.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND OR INTERESTS THAT ARE DESIRED/REQUIRED FOR THE FELLOWSHIP POSITION: 

Bachelor’s degree in any suitable discipline, or MBA

DESIRED SKILLS: 

PiA Fellows who are qualified to teach professional courses under the subjects of economic, accounting, financial and business management would be appreciated.
